Figuring it out.

Hello!

I am a New York-based Production Manager and Sound Designer. I have (finally) graduated with a degree in Theatrical Production & Design from Ithaca College. Most of my work entails production management and sound engineering at both the academic and professional levels. I currently work as an Assistant Tour Manager at The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps (for those of you who speak theatre, I am an Assistant Touring Stage Manager) and as a Production Manager at The Cherry Arts in Ithaca, NY.

I am 23 now finally holding the piece of paper I set out to get a mere 4 years ago. I shouldn’t say mere- that sh** was long. I now have a resume with things on it, you know, as one does. I think that’s pretty exciting! But, where does that leave me? That’s what I have to figure out now. I have skills and experiences like every other 23 year-old within my field and all of our degrees say the same thing.

What I offer is this:

“Show up, give a damn, and be a good hang.” - Alex Perialas

I bring an anti-racist ethos with my work, an eye for patterns and how to storytell from them, and far-reaching production experience to bring the best possible solution I can offer. Other than that, the only way to keep growing is to take one out of Jed Bartlet's Book-

”What’s next?”
